NEW SWEPT DESIGN CRUCIFORM AND SECURE INDEXED HANDLEBAR CLAMPS

The NEW Sprint X Tour now features ICE’s new easy access swept cruciforms. Allowing you to get your feet further under you for a more stable entry and exit of the trike, this also creates improved heel clearance for smaller riders.

All models now feature a new handlebar clamping system with super secure indexed clamps to ensure the handlebars easily remain fixed in position at all times and return to your preferred position after folding the trike. Now available with the new Ergo-Luxe seat, beautifully designed for the Sprint X Tour.

FLEXIBLE SEATING OPTIONS

The Sprint X Tour is available with several seat options to suit every rider preference, style and comfort level.

The Ergo-Flow mesh seat. Comprised of a seat frame and cover, the Ergo-Flow seat has been designed to provide optimum back support. The cover features breathable fabrics to maximize airflow, while cushioning in the base and side bolsters enhances comfort. With a handy weather sealed top pocket for storing small items.

The NEW Ergo-Luxe mesh seat. A fresh sporty designed, super comfortable, luxurious trike seat. Perfectly designed to match the style of the Sprint X Tour, in grey and black with red detailing. The Ergo-Luxe seat provides the ultimate level of riding comfort and ergonomic cushioning while breathable fabrics maximize airflow to keep you cool. With a handy weather sealed top pocket and integral sidepod bag mounts. This new seat cover is also retrofittable to all older Sprint models.

The Sprint X tour can also be configured with Air-Pro hard-shell seat if you wanted a firmer, sportier ride.

C.F.T FOLD

The ICE Compact Flat Twist fold is one of the many innovations that ICE has brought to the recumbent world. The fold is based around a lightweight heat-treated aluminum hinge on the main frame. Simply remove the seat, fold the handlebars flat, and undo the quick release lever to fold the frame. As the frame folds, the rear wheel pivots to fit flat between the front wheels. The CFT fold allows the trike to be folded in under 30 seconds and works with ICE accessories.

ADAPTABILITY

A great ride starts with a well-fitted trike. The position of the cranks, seat, and handlebars can be easily adjusted. Contacting parts are hard black anodized to prevent cosmetic wear. Custom brackets, and a choice of cranks, and seat types go further to ensure the perfect fit for you. A variety of mounting points make it easy to fit racks, bags, and other accessories for everyday practicality and long tours.

SHIMANO STEPS E-ASSIST

The ICE Sprint X Tour is available with or without electric assist. Shimano STEPS is available in two E-Assist motor systems:

The NEW EP8 system uses a powerful 250w electric motor, custom-designed ICE specific forged motor housing, 85Nm torque, 630Wh battery, custom display mount and Bluetooth connectivity. The EP8 system is more powerful, lighter in weight and is more user-controllable than the E6100 system.

The E6100 system uses a powerful 250w electric motor, 60Nm torque, 504Wh battery and Bluetooth connectivity. Great for general trike riding as it is the most cost-effective E-Assist system from ICE.

GEARING

The ICE Sprint X Tour is available with four different gearing types. The Enviolo Automatic Hub gearing system works with the Shimano STEPS system to give you fully automatic stepless gearing. The Rohloff 14 Speed Hub which gives you a good gear range, the ability to change gear while not pedaling, low maintenance and it is very reliable. The Alfine 8 Hub gearing system has around the same gear range as a standard 9 speed deraillieur. Derailleur gears are lighter, cheaper and more efficient than hub gears. They are also used by those who are looking to ride faster. They are available in different options, to suit the conditions you expect to ride your trike in.
